On
Grand Cayman you will fine many fine white sandy beaches. In the
pristine turquoise waters you will find world class diving and
snorkeling. With luxurious condominiums accommodations, friendly people,
a warm tropical climate and the highest standard of living in the
Caribbean, it is no wonder that this is one of the most popular vacation
destinations in the Caribbean.
The best beach section runs from the northern end of 7 Mile Beach all
the way south to LaCovia Resort which is in the middle of 7 Mile Beach.
The beach is a little narrower south of LaCovia but is still quite good.
Between Treasure Island Resort and Grapetree Cocoplum there is a mixture
of sandy beach and coral with some good smaller beach areas. South of
George Town is exclusively rough iron shore, except for Smith's Cove
south of Coconut Harbor. The best snorkeling areas are at the northern
tip of 7 Mile Beach near Silver Sands Resort and at the Southern end
of south of Treasure Island Resort. South of George Town is also
good for snorkeling. |
