Indian Shores is a lovely beach community of about 1,400 and is a great vacation location. It is within walking distance to many fine restaurants and shops.   It is also home to the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary that houses and treats injured pelicans, herons, egrets, owls, hawks, and other birds. These rehabilitated birds are then released back into the wild or the permanently injured remain at the sanctuary. Guided tours and lectures are offered Wednesdays and Sundays. The condominium properties in this area have a beautiful wide clean sandy beach and all  have private pools. Whether you choose gulf front or intercoastal there is something for everyone's taste.
